Votre vie est-elle aussi DURE ???

Difficultés Insoutenables

Sans aucun doute, aucun musulman n'a jamais été soumis à ce que le Prophète a subi. Il a traversé de nombreuses épreuves infligées par les païens de la Mecque comme personne ne saurait endurer. Voici ci-dessous quelques exemples de ce qu'il a subi:

* Il a été mal et rudement abusé.

* Il a été accusé d'être un poète, un magicien et un pasteur.

* La poussière et la saleté ont été jetés sur sa tête tandis qu'il se prosternait près de la Ka `bah.

* Il a été exilé de son domicile le visage en larmes en disant: «O Mecque! Tu es l'endroit le plus proche de mon cœur, et si ma tribu ne m'avait pas exilé de toi, je ne t'aurais jamais quittée."

* Les païens ont promis cent chameaux, ce qui était une fortune dans ce temps-là, comme prix à qui le capturerait, mort ou vif.

* Son visage a été coupé et sa dent a été cassée à la bataille de Uhud.

* Son oncle, Hamzah, a été tué devant lui à la bataille de Uhud, son abdomen était ouvert et coupé, son foie a été ôté de son corps.

* Soixante-dix de ses compagnons ont été tués en une seule instant le jour de Al-Raji ».

* Sa femme, Aïcha »(qu'Allah soit satisfait d'elle) a été accusée d'adultère avec Safwan ibn Al-Mu` Attel, alors qu'il revenait d'une bataille.

* Il avait attaché une pierre, à cause de la faim, sur son ventre (pour comprimer l'estomac vide), tout en creusant la tranchée à la bataille d'Al-Ahzab.

A cause de tout cela et plus, a-t-il perdre espoir? Se sentait-il déçu pour un certain temps? Pensait-il à renoncer à sa mission? A-t-il prié Allah pour détruire ses ennemis? S'est-il apitoyé sur son sort? Et même, a-t-il demandé à Allah le Très-Haut de le débarrasser de ces difficultés? La réponse est NON. Au lieu de cela, il a dit : "O Allah! Guide mon peuple, car ils ne savent pas."

Dans toutes ces situations entre autres, il n'a jamais perdu espoir. Plutôt, il a encouragé ses compagnons à être rempli d'espoir et de confiance dans l'aide d'Allah.

Meilleurs exemples

La Syrah, la vie du Prophète (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui), regorgent de situations exemplaires qui ont montré combien l'homme peut être armé d'espoir même dans les plus graves difficultés. Voici quelques exemples:

* Une fois qu'il était en prière près de la Ka `bah, lors des prosternations, les païens jetèrent de la poussière sur sa tête. Personne n'osait l'aider, sauf sa fille, Fatima. Puis il lui dit: «Ne t'afflige pas, ma fille. Allah protége ton père. "

* Pendant le voyage de l'Hégire, ibn Malik Suraqah l'a suivi lui et son compagnon Abu-Bakr, qui a dit: "Nous avons été surpris, ô Messager d'Allah!" Il dit: "Ne sois pas triste car Allah est avec nous." Puis il a promis à Suraqah les bracelets de Kisra, le roi des Perses à l'époque.

* Il a dit à `Adyy ibn Hatim tout en l'invitant à l'Islam,« Si vous vivez plus longtemps, vous pourrez voir la femme voyager seule d'Al-Hira jusqu'à la Ka`bah, en ne craignant qu'Allah." (Ahmed)

* Il dormait dans la maison de bint Um-Haram Malhan puis il se leva en souriant. Quand elle lui demanda: «Pourquoi souris-tu, Messager d'Allah?" Il dit: «Certains de mes disciples voguent sur cette mer comme s'ils étaient des rois sur des trônes de conquête dans le sentier d'Allah."

Ces situations etc montrent à quel point le Prophète (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) a été rempli d'espoir et de confiance en l'Aide d'Allah - même dans les difficultés.

Unbearable Hardships

Undoubtedly, no Muslim has been ever subjected to what the Prophet has. He has experienced as much hardships of the pagans of Makkah as no one can endure. The following are just examples of what he underwent:

* He was badly and rudely abused.

* He was accused of being a poet, a magician and a parson.

* Dust and dirt were thrown on his head while prostrating near the Ka`bah.

* He was exiled from his home with tears on his cheeks saying, "O Makkah! You are the nearest place to my heart, and if my tribe had not exiled me from you, I would never have left you."

* The pagans promised one hundred camels, which was a fortune as that time, as a prize to whoever captures him, alive or dead.

* His face was cut and his tooth was broken at the battle of Uhud.

* His uncle, Hamzah, was killed before him at the battle of Uhud, his abdomen was cut opened and his liver was taken out of his body.

* Seventy of his companions were killed at one time on the day of Al-Raji`.

* His wife, `Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) was accused of adultery with Safwan ibn Al-Mu`attel, while returning from a battle.

* He tied a stone, from hunger, on his tummy while digging the trench at the battle of Al-Ahzab.

Undergoing all this and more, did he lose hope? Did he feel disappointed for a while? Did he think of giving up his mission? Did he pray Allah to destroy his enemies? Did he feel sorry for himself? Even, did he ask Allah the Exalted to rid him of these hardships? The answer is NO. Instead, he said, "O Allah! Guide my people, as they do not know."

In all these situations and the harder he never lost hope. Rather, he encouraged his companions to be filled with hope and trust in Allah’s help.

Prime Examples

The Syrah, life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), teem of exemplary situations in which he showed how man can be armed with hope even in the severest hardships. These are some examples:

* Once he was praying near the Ka`bah; while prostrating, one the pagans threw some dust on his head. No one dared to help him except his daughter, Fatimah. Then he said to her, “Don’t grieve, my daughter. Allah will protect your father.”

* During the journey of Hijrah, Suraqah ibn Malik followed him and his companion, Abu-Bakr, who said, "We have been caught, O Allah's Messenger!' He said, "Don't be sad as Allah is with us." Then he promised Suraqah the bracelets of Kisra, the King of the Persians at that time.

* He said to `Adyy ibn Hatim while inviting him to Islam, “If you live longer, you will see the woman travel alone from Al-Hirah till the Ka`bah, fearing none but Allah.” (Ahmed)

* He was sleeping in the house of Um-Haram bint Malhan then he got smiling. When she asking him, “Why are smiling Allah’s Messenger?” He said, “Some of my followers sailing on this sea as if they are kings on thrones invading in Allah’s way.”

These situations and the like show that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was filled with hope and trust in Allah’s help – even in hardships.
